Detailed Commentary & Meaningful Thoughts

Krishna contrasts His knowledge across time with the world's limited recognition of Him. Read with the delusion of 7.25 and the wise devotees of 7.17–7.19, the statement is not a denial that realized knowledge is possible.

Philosophical Reflection & Self-Inquiry

"Humility grows when you recognize how partial your knowledge can be."

Inquiry Question to Ponder:

How can awareness of limited knowledge shape your judgment?

Modern Life Implementation (Practical Real-Life Application)

Apply this verse to look beneath external appearances in your daily life: see the underlying divine spark and interconnectedness in everyone, and seek refuge in timeless values rather than chasing fleeting superficial illusions.
