Detailed Commentary & Meaningful Thoughts
Yoga-maya is retained as a theological term for the power concealing Krishna's full nature. The verse develops the preceding warning that visible appearance is not complete knowledge of the divine.
Philosophical Reflection & Self-Inquiry
"Acknowledge the limits of what appearances alone reveal."
Inquiry Question to Ponder:
What limits of your understanding can you acknowledge today?
Modern Life Implementation (Practical Real-Life Application)
Apply this verse to look beneath external appearances in your daily life: see the underlying divine spark and interconnectedness in everyone, and seek refuge in timeless values rather than chasing fleeting superficial illusions.
