Detailed Commentary & Meaningful Thoughts

Sanjaya narrates the scene, while the quoted instruction belongs to Krishna. Naming Bhishma and Drona places Arjuna's revered elders in his immediate view rather than presenting the opposing army only as a military formation.

Philosophical Reflection & Self-Inquiry

"Krishna directs Arjuna to look at the people who stand before him."

Inquiry Question to Ponder:

Which familiar person or relationship have I failed to notice?

Modern Life Implementation (Practical Real-Life Application)

Confronting Painful Truths Directly: Krishna places the chariot directly before Bhishma and Drona and says 'Behold, Partha!' Life forces us to look squarely at our deepest emotional attachments. Healing and growth require confronting reality, not looking away.
