English meaning
English Translation: I sing of Achyuta (the infallible), Keshava, Rama, Narayana, Krishna, Damodara, Vasudeva, and Hari! I revere Shridhara, Madhava, beloved of the Gopis, Lord of Janaka's daughter Sita, Shri Ramachandra! Who says God does not come? You simply do not call upon Him with the longing of Meerabai! I sing of Achyuta, Keshava, Rama, Narayana, Krishna, Damodara, Vasudeva, and Hari! Who says God does not eat? You simply do not offer food with the tender love of Shabari! I sing of Achyuta, Keshava, Rama, Narayana, Krishna, Damodara, Vasudeva, and Hari! Who says God does not sleep? You simply do not sing a gentle lullaby with the motherly love of Yashoda! I sing of Achyuta, Keshava, Rama, Narayana, Krishna, Damodara, Vasudeva, and Hari! Who says God does not dance? You simply do not invite Him to dance like the devoted Gopis of Vraja! I sing of Achyuta, Keshava, Rama, Narayana, Krishna, Damodara, Vasudeva, and Hari! Devotional Significance: A modern classical devotional hymn rooted in Adi Shankaracharya's Achyutashtakam, demonstrating that God is accessible not through dry scholarship, but through simple, tender, heartfelt love.
