English meaning

English Translation: O Creator of joy and Dispeller of all sorrows, You remove all obstacles from the path of Your devotees! Your boundless love and compassionate grace fulfill all cherished desires! Your entire divine form is adorned with radiant sacred vermilion (shendur), And around Your neck glitters a splendid necklace of ocean pearls! Hail O Lord, Hail O Auspicious Form (Mangalamurti)! By Your mere vision, all heartfelt desires are fulfilled! Adorned with gem-encrusted ornaments, O beloved son of Mother Gauri! Sandalwood paste blended with sacred saffron and kumkum graces Your form! A diamond-studded crown shines brilliantly upon Your head, While tinkling anklets chime melodiously upon Your holy feet! Hail O Lord, Hail O Auspicious Form! By Your mere vision, all desires are fulfilled! O large-bellied Lord draped in sacred yellow silk, with a serpent tied as a sacred belt! With a graceful trunk, curved tusk, and three all-seeing divine eyes! The servant of Rama waits faithfully at Your threshold, Rescue us in times of distress, protect us at the final hour, O Lord worshipped by all celestials! Hail O Lord, Hail O Auspicious Form! By Your mere vision, all desires are fulfilled! Devotional Significance: Composed by the revered 17th-century saint Samarth Ramdas in Maharashtra, this is the most famous and auspicious Ganesha Aarti in the world.
